Founded in 2017, Greenacres Capital Management, LLC is a private investment management and advisory firm based in New York City. It is also a registered investment advisor (“RIA”).

It is one of the leading investment advisory firms to offer wealth management, alternative investment management, financial planning and risk management services to investors from China and other parts of Asia.

It has strong connections with leading asset management firms, private equity firms, real estate investment firms and alternative investment managers in U.S. and Europe.

Business

Different from publicly traded equities, bonds, ETFs and open-end mutual funds, alternative investment products are largely isolated from general market movement and offer superb risk adjusted return. In U.S., alternative investment products include direct real estate investment, real estate funds, private equity, private debt, VCs, hedge funds, commodities and other esoteric investments. Due to the product complexity, high investment threshold and low transparency, alternative investment products are difficult to understand and analyze.

Greenacres has significant experience in analyzing alternative investment products in US. By conducting comprehensive market research and due diligence, Greenacres offers investors alternative investment products with attractive risk adjusted return.

Greenacres has experience in multiple commercial real estate assets including multifamily, office, industrial, healthcare and student housing.

Founder

Mr. Li is the founder of Greenacres Capital Management, LLC. Mr. Li has over fifteen years of experience in global financial services, capital markets and real estate investments. Prior to establishing Greenacres, he worked at Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo Securities and HSBC Securities in New York and San Francisco, where he covered various financial services companies, including REITs, specialty finance companies, insurance companies and private equity funds.

Mr. Li has extensive experience in investments across capital structure, leveraged buyout, syndication financing and risk management in US. He has worked on transactions with combined value over $50Bn.

Mr. Li was raised in Shanghai, China before moving to US to pursue advanced education. He holds MBA in Finance from Georgetown University and BS in Economics from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of New York Society of Security Analysts.
